I recently had the pleasure of photographing Stefanie and Tim’s engagement session at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. Their wedding is coming up this November, and I couldn’t be more excited to capture it. This family is especially close to my heart—I photographed Stefanie’s brother’s wedding almost 10 years ago at the Westin O’Hare (see their wedding here). It’s always such an honor when families invite me back to document more of their milestones.

The Morton Arboretum is one of my favorite spots for engagement photography in the Chicago suburbs. With its variety of landscapes, beautiful lighting, and peaceful atmosphere, it provides endless opportunities for natural and romantic portraits. Stefanie and Tim were amazing to work with. They share such a genuine connection, and their interactions made photographing them effortless. From quiet moments under the trees to playful exchanges, their session reflected their personalities and love story beautifully.
