Taylor and Joe’s wedding kicked off my 2025 season in the best way. After photographing their engagement session in their neighborhood, I already knew they were an easygoing and fun-loving couple. That same energy carried through their entire wedding day.

Their celebration took place at Rockwell on the River, one of Chicago’s most unique venues. It was my first time shooting there, and the space exceeded all expectations. With its industrial charm and riverside setting, it offered a perfect backdrop for both portraits and candid moments. Kehoe Designs transformed the space with modern, elegant decor that reflected Taylor and Joe’s style beautifully.

What really stood out were the personal touches woven throughout the day. From a Ping Pong table and beer pong cups to custom matchboxes, every detail felt intentional. These fun elements added a relaxed vibe and kept guests smiling during cocktail hour.

Their first dance was one to remember. Joe lifted Taylor high and spun her around, bringing loud cheers and huge smiles from their guests. It was the perfect kickoff to a high-energy reception.

Later in the evening, the Blue Water Kings kept the dance floor packed with incredible live music. Everyone—from the wedding party to the last guests on the floor—was dancing until the very end.

Throughout the day, Taylor and Joe stayed fully present. They focused on each other and soaked in every moment with their closest friends and family. It was an honor to document such a genuine and joyful celebration.
