Last week, I photographed Maureen and Favin’s engagement session at the beautiful Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. This scenic location offers a mix of open fields, wooded trails, and seasonal colors—perfect for romantic portraits.

This session was especially meaningful. Over ten years ago, Favin stood as the best man at a wedding I photographed. Now, I’m honored to capture his engagement with Maureen.

We explored the West Side of the Arboretum, stopping at a few favorite spots for photos. The light was soft, the leaves were glowing, and Maureen and Favin were completely in sync.

They’ll be getting married at Artifact Events, a unique venue in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. I’m excited to document their celebration in that creative space.
