I had the opportunity to photograph Kevin’s surprise proposal to Jin at River Point Park along the Chicago Riverwalk. Located in downtown Chicago, River Point Park offers beautiful views of the Chicago River, modern architecture, and the surrounding skyline, making it one of the best locations for proposal photography in the city.

Kevin planned the proposal perfectly and surprised Jin while walking along the river. Her reaction was emotional and genuine, and it was such a meaningful moment to document. Afterward, we explored the Riverwalk area for engagement photos with the river and the skyline, creating an amazing Chicago backdrop.

One of the best things about River Point Park is the mix of waterfront scenery and downtown architecture, while still feeling more relaxed than many tourist locations in Chicago. The location works especially well for couples wanting a modern city feel for their proposal or engagement session.
