Last week, I had the opportunity to document Ciara and Jason’s winter City Hall elopement in Chicago. Their marriage took place at Chicago City Hall, one of the most meaningful and iconic locations for an intimate wedding or elopement in the city.

Although City Hall weddings are often small, Ciara and Jason were surrounded by family members who came to support and celebrate them. The presence of their loved ones added warmth and emotion to an otherwise cold winter day.

The ceremony took place inside the historic City Hall courtroom. The judge officially announced Ciara and Jason as spouses, marking the start of their marriage. Immediately after the ceremony, family and friends filled the room with applause and joy.

To celebrate the moment, we stepped outside for a confetti exit, creating a fun and energetic transition from the ceremony to the portraits.

After the confetti exit, we took time for family photographs outside City Hall. Despite the winter temperatures, everyone embraced the moment. Ciara and Jason then braved the cold for a short portrait session nearby.
