Our final full wedding of the year was Stefanie and Tim’s celebration at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont. This day felt especially meaningful because I reunited with Stefanie’s family. Many years ago, I photographed her brother’s wedding, so returning to capture another important milestone was an honor.
The Hyatt Regency O’Hare is known for its modern architecture, large event spaces, and easy access to Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The hotel features bright, open atriums and clean, contemporary interiors that work beautifully for portraits. It also offers spacious ballrooms that can host large weddings, which made it a perfect setting for Stefanie and Tim’s celebration.
After the main ceremony, we transitioned into a Chinese tea ceremony, which added a meaningful cultural tradition to their day. This ceremony brought the families together in a warm and intimate way, and it was a beautiful moment to document.
Later, the evening reception began. The ballroom filled quickly with guests who were ready to celebrate. There were heartfelt speeches, lively dancing, and non-stop energy throughout the night. The Hyatt’s professional lighting and wide dance floor helped create a vibrant atmosphere that carried the celebration all the way through.
Stefanie and Tim’s wedding was joyful, personal, and full of meaningful traditions. It was a wonderful way to conclude our wedding season at one of the most popular hotel venues in the Rosemont and O’Hare area.
