My role was to document their wedding day as it naturally unfolded. Other than a brief session for post-ceremony portraits and a few family pictures, I captured the day’s events organically, starting from their home and continuing at Dawson Chicago. Samantha and Michael wanted their wedding day to focus on genuine emotions rather than following social media trends. This approach allowed me to photograph not just the love between the couple but also the heartfelt moments shared with their family and friends.

A Day Filled with Love and Laughter

Samantha and Michael are incredibly caring individuals who always prioritize others’ well-being. Even when their limo overheated and broke down, they remained calm, not letting it affect their joyous occasion. The day was a beautiful mix of emotional tears and joyful laughter. A standout moment was photographing their adorable groomsman, Sparky, who was incredibly patient and added a special touch to the celebration.
