Christine and Tony’s wedding at Venuti’s Banquet Hall in Addison, Illinois, was such a meaningful event to photograph. Years ago, I photographed Christine’s sister’s wedding. Because of that, returning to capture another family celebration felt like an honor. Photographing siblings’ weddings is always special, and it is great to reconnect after so much time.

The couple got ready at Eaglewood Resort & Spa. The resort offered calm, bright spaces that worked well for their morning preparations. Soon after, we headed to the golf course behind the building for their first look. The open landscape created a clean and natural backdrop. Tony became emotional when he saw Christine in her beautiful gown. It was a simple moment, yet it carried so much meaning.

Next, we photographed the entire wedding party on site. This helped everyone stay relaxed before the ceremony. We then traveled to Venuti’s Banquet Hall for both the ceremony and reception. Venuti’s is known for its elegant ballrooms and dramatic lighting, which always enhances the atmosphere.

During the ceremony, Christine and Tony recognized every member of the wedding party and several family members. This small gesture made the ceremony feel warm and personal. Afterward, the reception began with a packed dance floor. The energy stayed high all night, and the celebration never slowed down.

Christine and Tony’s wedding day was emotional, joyful, and full of genuine moments. It was a beautiful reminder of why I love documenting Chicago area weddings.
