You know that couple you’re friends with who are so photogenic, it’s almost unfair? Well, get ready to hate Tracie and Dan (but I don’t, because they make my job so easy).

For their engagement session, we chose Fabyan Park in Geneva for its stunning greenery and picturesque setting. While this location is beautiful and popular, it can be a bit of a challenge for me—mainly because I’ve shot there so many times. But that’s the fun part! I’m always striving to capture something fresh and original, so I’m constantly surveying the scene and stepping back to find new spots.

Tracie and Dan are both in the medical field—Tracie is a nurse, and Dan is a med student in Europe. Their wedding is set for next year at the Rialto Theater in Joliet, and I’m beyond excited for it. I just shot my first wedding there this past weekend, and let me tell you, it was epic! I can’t wait to do it all over again with these two.

I’m already looking forward to their big day!
