Returning to the Hyatt Lodge in Oakbrook is always a delight, especially for a fall wedding. This time, I had the pleasure of photographing Alexis and Will’s special day. Despite being the sole photographer, I embraced the challenge with confidence. With over 500 weddings under my belt, I firmly believe that one exceptional photographer can effectively capture every moment.
While some may debate the necessity of a second shooter, my experience has taught me otherwise. The key lies in meticulous planning and a well-executed timeline. Thanks to the impeccable organization by wedding planner Amy, I was able to seamlessly navigate the day.
Alexis and Will’s wedding was filled with heartfelt moments, from multiple first looks to the emotional exchange of vows. The post-ceremony portraits basked in perfect lighting, accentuating the beauty of the occasion. The reception, adorned with stunning floral arrangements by Floral Events, was a sight to behold.
As the night progressed, the celebration soared with lively music and the glow of countless glow sticks. It was a magical evening filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
