Last month, I had the pleasure of traveling to the north suburbs to photograph Elise and Kevin’s stunning outdoor wedding at Independence Grove. It was a perfect day from start to finish.

Kevin and the groomsmen got ready at the Marriott Hotel in Lincolnshire, while Elise did her final touches at the venue. Instead of sticking with traditional hotel room prep shots, we moved outside to a secluded area with gorgeous natural light for Elise’s dress photos. This made for a more unique and intimate look.

The weather was ideal for their outdoor ceremony, and as guests began to take their seats, the sun started to set. The warm glow created a breathtaking atmosphere for their vows. After they said “I do,” we took advantage of the amazing light to capture some beautiful portraits before they joined their guests at the reception.

Elise and Kevin were so laid back, fully embracing each moment of their special day. It was wonderful getting to know them better and documenting such an important milestone in their lives. Here are some of the highlights from their unforgettable day at Independence Grove.
