Melissa and Joe, passionate Blackhawks fans from Edmonton, Canada, have a special connection to Chicago, often visiting to catch a few games. On their most recent trip, they decided to capture some timeless moments in the Windy City, with a unique twist to their engagement photos. Melissa had a fun request: she wanted the photos to make them look “really small.” This charming description was a fun challenge for me as a photographer, and I was excited to bring her vision to life.

We began our session at the iconic Wrigley Building, making our way down the Chicago Riverwalk. The city’s stunning architecture and the flowing river provided the perfect backdrop for their photos. Melissa and Joe’s love for each other shone through, and it was a pleasure documenting their visit.
