As a Chicago family photographer, I had a rare weekend without a wedding on the schedule, so I decided to take my kids to the Lincoln Park Zoo on the first beautiful day of spring. On the way, we made a quick stop in the West Loop to take pictures with the iconic Monster sculpture. Capturing these precious moments was a blast and a reminder of why I love documenting family memories. From the zoo’s vibrant atmosphere to the Monster’s playful presence, it was a perfect day for family photos.
