This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph Halsey and Doug’s engagement session in New York city. They have been together for nine years in total and will tie the knot this December in Chicago. I had an amazing time with the two of them as we strolled in their beautiful neighborhood. They live in West Village, and I was absolutely in love with the spectacular light.  I thought it was a great trade off for the day. They had a photographer, and I had a tour guide. Thank you again for inviting me out to the Big Apple. It also gave me some precious time with my daughter who joined me for the trip.
