Through out the year I will featuring a local small business on my blog. They will not be all wedding related but someone you may want to see, you may want to know, and someone you may want to support. Being a small business owner myself, I understand the power of networking through social media and word of mouth. Meet Janie, she is a wife, mother of two children, and a successful business owner here in Naperville IL. She graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in teaching and a former professional cheerleader and corporate sales veteran.

Being a big fan of boutique clothing and not having a budget for them, she decided to teach herself how to sew and started making them for her sweet little daughter Olivia. As friends and strangers started asking about her clothes and requesting for custom outfits, she decided to make it an official business. In the winter of 2010, Sweet Livy Loo Design Studio was open for business.

Sweet Livy Loo Design Studio specialize in handmade dresses, skirts, pants, and hair accessories for Infant and Toddler girls. They have a variety of handmade and unique one-of-a-kind dresses and outfits in all sizes.

Whitetail Ridge Golf Club Wedding Photography | Sarah & Chris

It was cold and very windy on February 4th, but Sarah & Chris braved it out for their mean Wedding Photographer . Cold weather doesn’t bother me too much because I’m always running around from place to place. The hot humid weather in July slows me down more than anything. This was one of those laid back everything on time kind of weddings, and it had a lot to do with the personalities of Sarah and Chris. I’m all about capturing moments and there were so many great ones from this wedding. Chris seeing Sarah in her beautiful dress for the first time was a moment to remember. This year we are no longer giving your wedding images on DVD, instead we will have your beautiful images on this sleek fancy flash drives. This is all part of our new look and feel for the 2012 season. The flash drives are brushed aluminum and comes with a tin presentation box. This will be so much easier for our couples to make quick back ups and transfer to their computers. I will continue to blog all our new products and marketing material as they come in. I did finally order business cards and I can’t wait to show all of you.

Bolingbrook Golf Club New Years Eve Wedding Photography | Whitney & Angelo

What other way is there to end the 2011 wedding season than to photograph a New years eve wedding? On December 31st, Whitney and Angelo celebrated their marriage and I had the honor to photograph their wedding and the party held at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. The highlight of evening was the bouquet toss, Whitney threw it so high it hit the giant chandelier and broke part of it off. I’m sure someone took video of it and it’s probably all over youtube. Salvage One Engagement session | Grace & Dino

I was so happy to go back to Salvage One to shoot Grace & Dino’s engagement session. This place is so amazing with tons of antique furniture that can be used for back drops or props. My job was pretty easy because Grace and Dino were semi-professional models on that day. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this October. I loved every image and I wanted to post all of them! Here are some of the highlights from that day.
