I had such an amazing time documenting Catherine and Daniel’s wedding day. They had a Sunday matinee wedding in December and was rewarded with a 50-degree temperature. I met with Catherine and Daniel early morning for their first look outside Kinzie hotel. Daniel’s reaction after seeing Catherine in her beautiful timeless dress was priceless. We then hit a few spots in Chicago for some laid-back portraits of the two of them, including the Jefferson Tap & Grille where their story began. Once they arrived at the River Roast, they were greeted by their family and friends. After the ceremony and lunch, everyone took advantage of the weather outside with their cocktails and mingled. With the wide space present, I had an idea to capture Catherine and Daniel with all 200 plus guests from their wedding. I don’t think I ever did a group shot this big before, but it turned out great!
