I recently had the pleasure of photographing Chuck and Mike for their engagement session in the vibrant heart of Chicago’s Loop. Despite a small hiccup with our original location plans, we ended up capturing some truly magical moments along the Chicago River.

From the moment we started shooting, Chuck and Mike’s genuine connection and love for each other shone through, making my job as a photographer an absolute joy. Despite any initial nerves, they quickly settled into their natural rhythm, creating authentic and beautiful moments together.

Originally, we had planned to take some architectural shots inside Union Station. However, upon arrival, we discovered a large crowd gathered outside due to a beer festival event taking place inside. Opting to avoid the hustle and bustle, we pivoted our plans and headed toward the serene beauty of the Chicago River.

Despite the unexpected change of location, Chuck and Mike embraced the opportunity, and we captured some truly stunning shots against the iconic backdrop of the city skyline and riverfront.
