Returning to my hometown of Lagrange Park for Rose and Luis’s wedding ceremony was a special experience. They chose me as their wedding photographer because they valued candid moments over posed portraits, aligning perfectly with my approach to documenting weddings. My focus is on capturing all the details and the emotions of everyone present to tell the story of the day. After all, a wedding day is about more than just the bride and groom – it’s about the entire celebration.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at Brookfield Zoo, and it was a unique and memorable experience. The cocktail hour in the Giraffe exhibit was particularly cool, allowing guests to interact with and feed the giraffes. Rose and Luis’s ceremony and reception incorporated many elements of their Mexican heritage, adding even more richness to the day.

Being a part of Rose and Luis’s wedding day was truly amazing, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to capture their love story in such a special setting.
