Domonique and Kevin traveled from California to Chicago during the holidays for their winter engagement photos. Chicago holds special meaning for them, as Kevin originally grew up here. This was their second engagement session, following a tropical shoot in Hawaii, making Chicago the perfect contrast with its iconic architecture and winter atmosphere.

Despite the cold temperatures, we captured timeless winter engagement photos throughout downtown Chicago. We started along the Chicago River, stopping inside River Roast for warm, cozy riverfront images. From there, we photographed along the LaSalle Street Bridge, one of the best spots for classic Chicago skyline and architectural engagement photos.

We finished the session in the West Loop at the new Guinness Open Gate Brewery, adding a modern, industrial feel to their winter engagement gallery. Winter engagement photos in Chicago offer fewer crowds, dramatic city views, and a unique, editorial look that couples love.
