Hey everyone!
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the lovely couple, Magen and Jason, for their engagement session at the picturesque St. James Farm in Wheaton. The autumn setting provided the perfect backdrop for their country-themed photoshoot, and despite a slight hiccup with lighting plans in the stable, we managed to create some beautiful memories together.
Magen and Jason wanted their photos to reflect their love for each other and their shared passion for the countryside. St. James Farm was the ideal location for this, with its sprawling fields, rustic barns, and charming scenery.
From the moment we started shooting, it was clear that Magen and Jason were natural in front of the camera. Their genuine affection for each other shone through in every shot, making my job as a photographer an absolute breeze.
While we had hoped to experiment more with lighting in the stable, we unfortunately got kicked out before we could fully realize our vision. However, sometimes these unexpected challenges lead to even more creative solutions, and we make the most of the natural light available to us.
Despite the setback, we were able to capture some stunning images against the backdrop of the farm. Whether they were walking hand in hand through the fields or sharing a tender moment by the old wooden fence, Magen and Jason’s love for each other was evident in every frame.
I’ve included a few sneak peeks from their session below so you can see for yourself:
