It was an incredible honor to document Joanna and Kamal’s beautiful wedding at the historic University Club of Chicago. They celebrated both their ceremony and reception in the elegant Michigan Room, one of Chicago’s most iconic wedding venues. Surrounded by family and friends, they filled the day with unforgettable moments.

The couple shared an emotional first look inside the University Club’s beautiful library. The rich woodwork, towering bookshelves, and classic architecture created an intimate setting before the festivities began. It was the perfect place for them to spend a quiet moment together before walking down the aisle.

After the first look, we walked across Michigan Avenue to Millennium Park for family portraits. Although Millennium Park is one of Chicago’s most popular attractions, especially during summer festivals, we found beautiful locations that highlighted the city’s stunning architecture and greenery while keeping the focus on Joanna and Kamal and their families.

Following portraits, everyone returned to the University Club for a beautiful ceremony in the Michigan Room. The room’s elegant chandeliers, soaring ceilings, and historic character created a sophisticated atmosphere for the couple as they exchanged vows.

The celebration continued with an elegant reception in the same ballroom. Joanna and Kamal surprised their guests by opening the evening with an amazing choreographed first dance. Their performance energized the room, entertained their family and friends, and set the tone for an unforgettable night of celebration, laughter, and dancing.
