Talk about the calm before the storm. It literally describes Ashley and Joe’s wedding day. Although it was threatening, the storm held off for all of the pictures and the ceremony, but as soon as we were about to start the reception festivities, mother nature took over. Fortunately with a lot of help from their friends and family, they scrambled to get everyone inside and dry to continue with the celebration. Ashley and Joe’s wedding was held at her father’s estate in Davis, Illinois. It was absolutely the perfect setting for a rustic backyard wedding. I should say a HUGE backyard. It was so fun working with these two. They were so laid back and the crazy storm didn’t bother them one bit. Here are some of the highlights from their wedding.
