The Rookery Wedding | Chicago Documentary Wedding Photographer
I’m back at the Rookery to document another epic wedding. Only this time it was for my very first gay wedding. I’ve been counting the days to photograph Chuck and Mike’s wedding. I took the same approach as I always do for all my weddings. I wing it and go with the flow. We had such a great time working with Chuck and Mike. I asked Mike about locations for pictures, he said “Jiho, we trust you and we will do whatever you think will look best” YES! I love it when my clients give me 100% creative freedom. So many people were involved to make this wedding as amazing as it was. But I have to shout out to Jenna from Avant Gardenia for the gorgeous floral design that made the Rookery more spectacular than it already is. By far it was my favorite work of hers. Also to Lauren from Ryan Alexandar Events for her creative mastermind of planning and bringing all the pieces together to make Chuck and Mike’s wedding memorable for everyone.
Thank you again to Chuck and Mike for giving us the honor to tell your story. You guys threw one amazing party! Congrats again.

Good evening. My girlfriend and I are coming out to Chicago and we’re going to elope. We were wondering how much it would be to have “engagement” type photos taken of us. Probably about 2-3 hours on April 8 2017. We are hoping to have our ceremony in Millennium Park with 4 of our friends.
Thank you,
Danielle
