A few years ago, I photographed Olivia’s mother’s intimate wedding, where I first met Olivia. When she reached out about her wedding with Seth, I was thrilled.

Their wedding took place at Mora Farm in DeKalb, Illinois, a beautiful countryside venue surrounded by open fields and rustic barns. It was my first time there, and I loved exploring every corner — from the vintage red barn to the open meadows and tree-lined paths.

The wedding party brought so much energy that every moment felt alive. A horse, a tractor, and even a few ladybugs added unexpected charm to the day.

Olivia and Seth celebrated with their closest friends and family. Guests filled the dance floor to classic rock ’n’ roll, and the speeches mixed humor with heartfelt emotion. Everyone welcomed me like family.

It was a joyful and down-to-earth celebration — the kind of day that reminds me why I love photographing weddings.
