Last year around this time I came up with plan to photograph Andy’s proposal to Julie on the ice skating rink at Millennium park. I froze my ass off and my fingers were like icicles but till this day, it was one of my favorite and special event that I have photographed. You see, Andy is not a client, he is a long dear friend of mine. I have know him for close to 20 years and till this day, our friendship is as strong as day one. Even if we lose touch for awhile, we always give each other a phone call to catch up on our lives and meet up for a nice tall glass of beer. He has always been there for me, never gave me any excuses and I hope I was there for him for the past 20 years. I couldn’t think of anyone else with similar morals and faith to God to be my daughters Godfather. I was very honored and deeply touched to photograph their intimate ceremony at Julie’s parent house on 11-11-11.  I’m very happy to see my friend so deeply in love with one genuine person. I wish you guys nothing but the best and as usual, I’m always here for you dude!  Andy is my brother from a different mother, so welcome to the family Julie! I remember what Andy use to say about you before I met you and everything is so true. I love you guys.
