Logan Square Engagement Photography | Lauren, Ryan & Oliver

I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Ryan’s engagement session in Logan Square, along with their adorable dog, Oliver. The couple, who are set to marry in 2025, welcomed me into their cozy home. We started the shoot in a laid-back way by making cocktails and spending time with Oliver. From the very beginning, it was clear that Oliver wasn’t just a pet; he was an integral part of their lives and quickly stole the spotlight during the session.

Capturing Candid Moments at Home

As we relaxed and conversed, Lauren, Ryan, and Oliver’s connection became even more evident. This natural atmosphere allowed me to capture candid moments that truly showcased their personalities. Since they were in the comfort of their own home, they felt at ease, which made it easier for them to be themselves in front of the camera. As a result, the love between them was palpable in every shot.

Exploring Logan Square

After spending some time indoors, we decided to venture out into Logan Square. We strolled through the neighborhood, visiting some of their favorite spots. The familiar surroundings made Lauren and Ryan feel even more comfortable, and the photos reflected their genuine affection and joy for each other.

A Visit to the Chicago Mural

One of the highlights of our outdoor session was stopping by the iconic Chicago Mural. The mural’s bold colors and intricate designs served as the perfect artistic backdrop. It complemented Lauren and Ryan’s natural chemistry, and we captured some memorable shots that truly reflect their love.

Looking Ahead to the Wedding

Spending time with Lauren, Ryan, and Oliver was a truly wonderful experience. I’m beyond pleased with how their engagement pictures turned out, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in 2025.
