Janie, a Naperville-based entrepreneur, is a wife, mother of two, and a former professional cheerleader and corporate sales veteran. She graduated from Ohio State University with a teaching degree but found her true passion in creating boutique-style children’s clothing.

Her journey began when she wanted stylish, high-quality boutique outfits for her daughter, Olivia, but found them out of budget. Teaching herself to sew, she started designing adorable outfits. As friends and strangers began requesting custom pieces, her passion turned into a business. In the winter of 2010, Sweet Livy Loo Design Studio was born.
