I recently met with Tanvi and Ryan for their intimate Hindu wedding ceremony in Lincoln Park, surrounded by their closest family members. It was a short and simple celebration, but every moment carried meaning.

After the ceremony, we walked over to North Avenue Beach for portraits along the lakefront. The combination of Chicago’s skyline, Lake Michigan, and the relaxed atmosphere of the beach gave us a beautiful setting for a few natural portraits together.

I love photographing intimate Chicago weddings like this. With fewer guests and a more relaxed pace, there is room to focus on the people, relationships, and small moments that make the day personal.

Tanvi and Ryan’s Lincoln Park micro wedding was a reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be large to be meaningful. Sometimes, the simplest celebrations are the ones that matter most.
