If you’ve been following my story on Facebook, you know that last month I photographed a wedding in Iowa City, and on my way back home my car broke down and had to have it towed to the nearest service center in Cedar Rapids. Anyway, I had to make another trip to pick up my car so my wife and I made a one-day vacation away from the kids and I happened to sneak in a family session while I was out there. After Lindsay told me she had 19-month-old twins and a 4-year-old boy, I almost lied and said I was retiring from photography. But they were great to work with and we captured some great shots from our shoot. Lindsay is also a photographer so it was pretty easy directing and setting up a shot.  Here are a few from our session.
