I was introduced to Shannon and Jared through a mutual friend Colleen who arranged the engagement session with me as a gift to the engaged couple. Shannon and Jared lives in Rockford IL, so I thought the Ellwood House in Dekalb IL would be the perfect in between location for the both of us. The estate is now a museum but it was once the home of Isaac Ellwood, the man who developed barbed wire. I had a great time working with Shannon and Jared. They were really in the moment throughout the whole session, which made my job easy to get some natural intimate images. Here are some of my favorites.
