Last week, Ryan reached out from San Francisco to plan a surprise proposal for his girlfriend, Sarah. We discussed the details and chose Millennium Park, with The Bean as the perfect backdrop. Blending in was easy since cameras were everywhere.

Before proposing, Ryan and Sarah spent 15 minutes ice skating. Then, he led her to The Bean and asked a “stranger” (me) to take their picture. As soon as I finished, he dropped to one knee, and I captured the moment.

Sarah was so shocked that she forgot to say yes at first! It was a beautiful and unforgettable proposal.
