It was so great to be back at The Old Post Office to document another incredible wedding. There’s something about simple weddings that always makes them feel more relaxed and intimate, no matter the size. Bethany and Mike’s wedding was a perfect example of that. Everything from getting ready to the reception took place at the venue, making the day flow smoothly and stress-free.

The Old Post Office has so much to offer for photos. From the rooftop overlooking the Chicago skyline to the modern and timeless spaces inside, we had a variety of stunning backdrops to work with. We took full advantage of the venue, capturing a range of looks for their portraits. One fun moment was on the rooftop basketball court, where both Mike and Bethany took free throws. We got some great action shots of them in the moment, which added a playful touch to their portraits.

As the evening unfolded, we were treated to a beautiful sunset on the rooftop, with cocktails being served as everyone enjoyed the breeze and the views. It was the perfect way to unwind and take in the cityscape.

The night ended on a high note with plenty of dancing, and to top it off, hotdogs were passed around as late-night snacks. It was such a fun, laid-back wedding that reflected Bethany and Mike’s personalities perfectly.
