Getting Ready at the Park Hyatt Chicago
What an incredible wedding day we had the honor of documenting this past July! Julie and David celebrated their wedding at Chicago’s iconic Adler Planetarium, followed by an unforgettable reception and after-party in the spectacular Dome Theater.
The day began at the Park Hyatt Chicago on the Magnificent Mile, where Julie and David got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends. Before the festivities began, they shared an emotional first look at the hotel.
Wedding Portraits Around Chicago
Next, we stopped at the historic Chicago Board of Trade, where we photographed the wedding party against one of the city’s most recognizable architectural landmarks. From there, we made our way to Adler Planetarium for additional portraits along the lakefront.
The breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline created the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding photographs. As the afternoon unfolded, Julie and David enjoyed a few quiet moments together while we documented the excitement leading up to the ceremony.
A Beautiful Adler Planetarium Wedding Ceremony
Julie and David exchanged heartfelt vows beneath a beautiful chuppah with the Chicago skyline stretching behind them. Meanwhile, their family and friends witnessed every emotional moment. Throughout the ceremony, every detail reflected their personalities and the love they share, making the celebration feel truly unique.
Reception and Dome Theater After-Party
Following the ceremony, the celebration kicked into high gear as soon as Julie and David made their grand entrance into the reception. Guests filled the dance floor while the talented Chicago Players band kept the energy high with everyone’s favorite songs.
Later in the evening, the celebration continued inside the Dome Theater for an epic after-party. DJ Marid kept the music going, and guests cooled off with a fun 7-Eleven-inspired Slurpee station that quickly became a late-night favorite.
An Unforgettable Chicago Wedding Celebration
From beginning to end, Julie and David’s Adler Planetarium wedding overflowed with authentic moments, incredible energy, and breathtaking Chicago scenery. Most importantly, they celebrated surrounded by the people they love most, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
