I had the pleasure of working with Sara and Ji-Heon for their engagement session at the Museum Campus in Chicago earlier this week. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, with the Adler Planetarium offering one of the best spots in the city to capture its stunning skyline.
We began by taking some shots near the lake, with the iconic Chicago skyline as the backdrop—such a classic view of the city. After that, we headed near Soldier Field to incorporate some greenery into the session, giving us a wonderful variety of settings. I love providing couples with a mix of elements for their engagement photos to make sure their session feels unique and full of variety.
This was also my first engagement session using my new Fuji X-Pro2 camera, after switching from Nikon and Sony. It’s been exciting and inspiring to incorporate this new gear into my work, especially alongside my Leica system. The colors and dynamic range of this Fuji camera are amazing, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results straight out of the camera.
Here are some of the highlights from Sara and Ji-Heon’s engagement session at the Adler Planetarium and surrounding areas. Enjoy!
