As a Chicago wedding photographer, 2017 was an unforgettable year filled with love, laughter, and beautiful celebrations. Our team had the privilege of capturing 64 weddings—our busiest season yet! We ended the year on a high note, photographing a vibrant ’70s-themed New Year’s Eve birthday party at Venue SIX10. It was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible season of wedding photography.
A Year of Beautiful Weddings in Chicago
This past year, we photographed weddings at some of Chicago’s most stunning venues, from historic landmarks to modern event spaces. We also had the opportunity to work with many talented vendors and reconnect with familiar faces. Each wedding was unique, and we loved documenting every heartfelt moment, from emotional vows to unforgettable dance floor celebrations.
Being a wedding photographer in Chicago means embracing every season, from snowy winter ceremonies to warm summer celebrations. No matter the weather, our goal remained the same: to capture authentic, timeless images that tell each couple’s love story.
Looking Ahead to 2018
As we move into the new year, exciting changes are coming to Lilly Photography! We’re launching a new website and rebranding to better showcase our work. In addition to weddings, I’ll also be exploring personal projects like street photography, which will be featured on a sister website.
