190 South LaSalle – Chicago Wedding Photography

On October 18, 2025, our team photographed three weddings across the city. My wedding of the day took place at 190 South LaSalle, also called The Library on LaSalle. This venue’s elegant design and warm atmosphere matched Ellie and Brian’s relaxed personalities perfectly.

Their day coincided with the “No Kings” rally in Chicago. As a result, traffic around the Chicago Riverwalk was heavy. We had originally planned to do their first look there, but we couldn’t reach the area. Instead, we switched to Plan B. Along the way, something unexpected happened—Ellie and Brian accidentally ran into each other. Surprisingly, it turned out better than the planned first look. The moment was spontaneous, funny, and completely genuine.

The ceremony and reception at The Library on LaSalle were intimate and laid-back. Guests enjoyed the warm lighting and beautiful downtown setting. Ellie and Brian’s easygoing energy filled the space, creating a day that truly reflected their personalities.

Later, we walked to the Chicago Board of Trade Building for creative portraits in the rain. The city lights reflected on the wet streets, adding cinematic flair. Despite earlier hurdles, everything came together perfectly. Ellie and Brian’s wedding captured real love, laughter, and the beauty of the unexpected.
