How long have you been in business? The company was established in 2009.

What is the primary photographic style you offer?  Photojournalism with heavy emphasis on composition

Who are your ideal clients? We have the best connection with clients that appreciate the skill of photojournalism and creative art. They give their photographers the trust and freedom to be creative to capture stunning photographs.

Who are your not so ideal clients? I would say the ones that want to duplicate every cheesy Pinterest picture. Why would you want your wedding to be a cliché? Couples that micromanage their shot list. Our approach to documenting a wedding, 99.9% of the time we will already get those pictures on your list. We want to be looking for moments rather than our eyes glued to a shot list.

When are engagement sessions scheduled? An engagement session is scheduled during the week. Along with all other types of sessions. Weekends are reserved for weddings. Limited weekend dates are available during off season months.

When should we contact you?  Due to a number of inquiries we receive daily, our availability is always changing. We recommend meeting no earlier than two weeks before making a decision.

Are you okay with a Skype meeting? Skype and Facetime meetings are always welcome.

Do you have liability insurance? Yes of course! We will provide documentation if needed

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? Absolutely! Photographing weddings is always a challenge due to mixed lighting in different locations.

How many photographers do you work with? We currently have six wedding photographers. We’ve worked together exclusively for many years.

How many weddings do you guys book a day? We only book two weddings a day and a maximum of three for the weekend.

When should we book? It is very common for our clients to book us 18 months out. Due to a number of inquiries we receive, we do not hold dates. First to sign a contract along with a retainer will secure their wedding date.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? All professional gear that is essential to the way we like to work.

Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes, we do.

Do you charge hourly or full day? We can build a la carte hourly package that is less than 8 hours to fit your needs.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We all need to eat and we ask to be fed the same time bride and groom have their meals. This way we don’t miss any of the main events.

Do you charge for travel? Anything outside of the Chicagoland area, there will be additional travel arrangements.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, we do release the rights to our clients for printing.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes, for portfolio and marketing purposes.

Do you provide the digital files to the client? All high-resolution images are provided via internet download. Estimated time is 6-8 weeks after your event. The viewing gallery is for 90 days and you can extend for an additional fee.

When will the client get the final album? Album design, print, and binding can take up to 3-4 weeks after the layout has been approved.
Do you offer retouching service?  The collection of images you will receive are all completed with the basic editing of color correction, sharpness, and contrast with minor touch-ups. Anything beyond this with special requests will be billed per picture.
