Well it almost seems like it took forever to finally shoot Katie & Paul’s engagement session. We originally wanted to shoot in the snow but it just didn’t work out with mother nature and our schedules. So Katie told me about Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Co. This is where they dine for their favorite pizza. So I just went with the idea of starting our shoot in the restaurant. I’ve never had their pizza before, but I hear great raves about them. I think I need to take the family for some pizza soon. The moment you walk in you will notice that the restaurant is very romantic with dimmed lights and and flowers at each table with red napkins laid out. Perfect spot for date night! Then, right across the street I noticed many lights, it really got my attention and my head started to spin. We went over to Stanley Galleries and met with Rose who was so kind enough to allow us to take some picture. If you’re looking for some old antique hard to find lighting, this is the place. In the end, our shoot was unique and was able to show Katie and Pauls love for one another. Here are the highlights.
Thank you to Cathy over at Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Co. for helping us make this happen.
Thank you to Ken and Rose at Stanley Galleries for letting us in to their establishment for art.
