I finally had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Cafe Brauer in Chicago. In all my years in business, I’ve had a few inquiries for Cafe Brauer, but it never happened because of availability.  I even had one booked a few years ago but unfortunately, it was called off the week of the wedding. I was extremely excited that Meghan reached out to me for her wedding. Her sister stood up at a wedding I photographed many years ago. So there was a little connection and familiarity.  The day was perfect with great weather, an amazing venue, an awesome team of vendors, and a lively wedding party. It was fun for me to observe and stalk for a moment here and there, to capture great candids is to ignore everyone and not draw any attention to myself. I want to capture everything organically and not have any influence on the outcome.
